Did you turn back your clocks? Birders got an extra hour of sleep before heading out in search of new arrivals today. Gusty NE winds are pumping and should produce some awesome sea watch conditions for those looking out over the water. Raptors love a NE wind, look up don’t miss the tail end of raptor migration. Warblers are still moving down the peninsula with reports of sweet birds like Bay-breasted surfacing yesterday. NE winds with strong gusts are a great recipe for Blackpoll Warblers, listen out for their buzzy calls. Cape Mays are also still flying through, and Yumps and Palmies are arriving in bigger and bigger numbers.
Please let us know what you are seeing out there today. We appreciate it your feedback.
Nature is Awesome,
Angel and Mariel
