Here is the radar from 7:00pm last night to 6:30am this morning.
The winds were from the ENE to NE throughout the evening. The rain shut down migration from the south again. There was some activity right after the rain passed through in the early morning but the radar shut off before we could track the birds. The birds moved really fast in short period, they could be shorebirds moving from the Largo into the Everglades. Birds continued their path up through Florida, there were some good densities at the FL/GA border once again. We have not seen any waves of migrants into Miami since Monday when the vacuum came through and sucked everybody out of here. Well it is the first official day of spring, so the birds are not too far behind. Good Friday birding to all.
All sightings are greatly appreciated.
Nature is Awesome,
