A nice late season flight occurred over Florida last night. Most of the birds seem to be moving north to south, and covering good ground over the span of the night. Miami looks like it had a nice influx of birds come in this morning; hope to hear from the Cape with great news of birds everywhere. All radar across Florida picked up movement going south through out most of the night. We will post more later as work has gotten in the way.

  1. Not birds everywhere at Cape Florida, but we banded 25, which is the most we’ve caught in one day for nearly a week. Black-throated blues were half the captures, but they weren’t swarming the place like they can.

  2. Thanks for you visit and comment. I’ll be looking at this site.
