Great Migration Conditions Tonight!

Migration conditions look good for tonight over the eastern flyway. There is a full moon out which sets up the night for a perfect opportunity to look at the moon birders.
North winds over much of the eastern flyway is encouraging migrants to take flight. With a light north wind migrants are not making huge gains but are defiantly on the move south. Go birding tomorrow if time allows birders.

  1. One Goldfinch visited my feeder this morning. The first i have seen this season. It is a little earlier than last year for the Goldfinches.

  2. Thanks Kelly; for your report of the Goldfinch, we love those little suckers. This is the first report we have read of one in Florida thus far. Soon the feeders will be full and the thistle will be flowing or at least the money for thistle will. LOL
