  1. Banding today was rather slow. There were lots of Swallows and Bobolinks flying overhead but besides that it was quiet. It was a really hot day which probably kept birds in the hammock but they did not end up in our nets.

We banded a few birds today but definitely slower than yesterday.

Seen or banded in the hammock were…
    OVEN
    BTBW
    AMRE
    NOWA
    BWWA
    PRAW
    YTWA
    BGGN
    REVI

MIDA, chime in if you have any other birds you would like to add.

    A & M

  2. Naa, you covered it. Wonder if the rain to the north overnight caused a block? Also, migration across central FL didn’t look as intense last night as it did on the 4th.
