Migrants On The Move Tonight

Birds are on the move tonight.  Radar images show migrating birds crossing the Florida Straits right now.  Wednesday night a fresh SSE wind will prevail over Havana, Cuba with clear skies.  Looks like perfect weather for takeoff.  Here back at home a mid-level trough will move south bringing a change in pressure and humidity which should cause some fog into Thursday morning and could help us catch some migrants at our traps.  A west wind on Thurs betters our chances of getting lucky but only if birds take off of course.  All this plus winds aloft at 3K ft. forecast to be a swift west wind over the straits and most of the state; we may see some birds.
