Migration is on; Birders!

Last night marked the first real big visible push of migrants into the SE portions of the state. Returns seemed to pass over Miami’s radar and continue their path up the coast. Look for migrants at your favorite migrant traps from Miami north. Spanish River in Boca looks good as well as John U Lloyd, Anne Kolb etc… We would love to hear from you as to what new birds are around today. We will post more about the images later. Not feeling so good today ;(

  1. Matheson Hammock had 3 Prairies and 1 Black-and-white this morning. No other migrants that I could find. We’ll know when migration is in full swing once these 4 birds are also gone. Spring is definitely here!
