Lots of movement on radar by migrants last night. Majority of the pulses were moving in a general S-NNW direction. Key West and Miami radars both show what appears to be a late morning arrival of migrants. If you did not see much in the morning a may be worth a check later in the day. We will post more later, have to run.

  1. Much quieter today than yesterday. Almost all wintering birds are gone — no Palm Warblers today! Eight warbler species today and fewer birds while 2 singing Yellow-breasted Chats and a singing Worm-eating Warbler were fun to watch. Still quiet when I went back to the administration office at 3:45 PM. There are a few Black-whiskered Vireos scattered around the park and I flushed a Chucks this morning. More birds ended up inland?
