Migration Roadblock

A frontal system sliding SE at 20kts has effectively created a roadblock that may bring down birds in the face of unfavorable weather. This band of convection will continue to move SW and start to break up as the best dynamics and upper level support moves away towards the NE. Winds are shifting and a SW flow will become northerly overnight and into Friday. This front will continue to weaken as it moves south as again the upper level support will be moving away to the NE. Tomorrow birding may be fruitful along the Lake O’ region and to its west. Come back in the morning to see what happens over the course of the night.
