Easterlies pushed all the migrating birds to the west and well out over the Gulf! Get out to inland migrant traps as well as those along the west coast for your best chance of seeing migrants today. For those of you in the panhandle be on the lookout for some overshot West Indian Migrants such as Cape May or Blackpoll Warbler which are usually pushed over when migrating under strong E and NE winds. For the rest of us we better get lucky and hope some birds decided to stop because little precipitation means little birds.

As always, Badbirdz depends on YOU to report your sightings and be our ‘eyes on the ground’, so please come back and give us an idea of what you are seeing in your neck of the woods. This will help us better understand the radar images and in return we can pass this knowledge onto you 🙂

Nature is Awesome,
Angel and Mariel
